GVL Country Music Fest partners with United Way for Hurricane Helene relief

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Greenville Country Music Festival has partnered with United Way to support the community after tragedy struck from Hurricane Helene.
“Though our venue sustained minimal damage, our team has worked tirelessly to keep the festival on track,” festival organizers said. “This year, however, it’s about more than the music.”
United Way will be collecting essential donations at their tent located just outside of the main entrance of GVL Fest. If you’d like to contribute, the following items are being accepted:
- Canned goods (vegetables, fruits, soups, meats) *Pop-top lids preferred
- Boxed meals (pasta, rice, cereal)
- Peanut butter and protein bars
- Bottled water and sports drinks
- Diapers, baby wipes, and formula
- Hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, feminine hygiene items)
- First aid supplies (bandages, pain relievers)
- Cleaning supplies (disinfectant wipes, trash bags)
Organizers said Bud Light will donate $2 from every Bud Light sold during the festival.
Concert-goers will also have the opportunity to make a personal donation when purchasing tickets online.
“No matter the size, every contribution will help those rebuilding their lives,” said organizers. “Thank you for standing with us and for making a difference during this difficult time. Together, we can make an impact, enjoy the music, and support those in need.”
