Your Impact: Our Biggest School Tools Yet!

Our biggest School Tools yet is in the books!

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of United Way donors, sponsors, and hundreds of volunteers, 5,000 Greenville County students received backpacks, school supplies and community resources. Saturday was more than a day for new backpacks—it was a celebration of the new school year with Greenville County families and all of the possibilities our future holds. It was also a glimpse of our mission in action: Building a Greenville County where all people have access to the opportunities to achieve their full potential.

“Because of the extraordinary generosity of our investors, volunteers and partners, thousands of children in our community will start the upcoming school year ready to learn,” said United Way of Greenville County President and CEO Meghan Barp. “We are so proud to see Greenville County unite to support our families and their children’s education.”

From Carolina High to Greer to Simpsonville, this community came together to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors. We saw the powerful impact of your support in the countless smiles and thank-yous from local students and their families. On behalf of all of them, we thank you.

Even after our most successful School Tools yet, we know there is still more work to be done. Please consider making an investment in our community today.

Your support is the driving force behind all we do. Because of you, thousands of Greenville County students will start school next week with the tools they need to achieve their full potential. This is How We Win.
