Bert R. Arrowood, CFP®
Bert Arrowood is a Managing Director of Wealth Management with UBS Financial Services Inc. He graduated from Bob
Jones University with a B.S. in Financial
Management. Bert completed his post-
graduate studies through the College for Financial Planning in
Denver, CO and became a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional.
His background is concentrated in the areas of investment
management, asset allocation, sustainable income and estate
preservation. He conducts educational seminars for high networth
families as well as for nonprofit agencies and associations
nationwide. Bert’s experience in working with high networth
families and nonprofit organizations has led to his participation
in statewide telecasts over the ETV network-which are archived
in libraries throughout South Carolina. He is a frequent speaker
on topics such as investment management and allocation, estate
and tax planning, planned giving strategies and methods for
achieving predictable income. Bert has been named by both
Barron’s and Forbes as a Best-In-State and Best In Nation Wealth
Advisor multiple times, and he is especially proud of the Team
being chosen as the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Management
Team for 2023. The Forbes rating is compiled by SHOOK Research
and awarded annually in January, based on information from a
12-month period ending March of the prior year. Eligibility is based
on quantitative factors and is not necessarily related to the quality
of the investment advice.
Bert is a native of Macon, Georgia but has called Greenville home
for over 30 years. He has worked in the financial services industry
for more than 25 years. He currently serves as a board member for
numerous nonprofit organizations and foundations and is on the
Advisory Committee for the South Carolina Christian Foundation.
He enjoys giving back to the community by speaking annually to
high school and university business students about economics and
finance and leads the college student ministry at his local church.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and they
especially enjoy their family time together at the lake.
William G. Bragdon
Will Bragdon is a Senior Vice President of
Wealth Management with UBS. He is a
graduate of Covenant College with a B.A.
in Business Administration and Finance.
Will has over 20 years of experience in the industry servicing the
unique needs of endowments and foundations and high net
worth families. Will has diverse experience in commercial real
estate, investment analysis, family legacy planning, endowment
development, investment policy and spending policy structure, and
retirement planning. His work with a New York marketing firm,
focusing on cause-related marketing for multiple Fortune 100 and
500 clients, is a valuable resource for our institutional clients. Will
has been named by both Barron’s and Forbes as a Best-In-State and
Best In Nation Wealth Advisor multiple times, and he is especially
proud of the Team being chosen as the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth
Management Team for 2023. The Forbes rating is compiled by

Will is the former chairman of the board for the Roper Mountain
Science Center. He is active in the National Leadership Forum on
Faith and Values in Washington, D.C. Forbes has named him as one
of America’s Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors for multiple
years running.
Will continues to work with several state governors to conduct
student forums in the public arena and is active in the work of the
International Foundation and the President’s Prayer Breakfast. He
and his wife attend and serve at Downtown Presbyterian Church in
Greenville, and are now the proud parents of four young children.
Will enjoys golf, fly fishing, hunting and flying.
Brandon Elijah
Brandon Elijah is a Managing Partner with Burroughs Elijah Attorneys, a local elder law and estate planning law firm. He has offices in Augusta, GA, Aiken, SC, and Greenville, SC. Brandon practices exclusively in the areas of wills and trusts, VA and Medicaid planning, probate, special needs planning, and small business law.
Brandon received his law degree from the Charleston School of Law, located in the heart of downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Shortly after graduation from law school, Brandon was admitted to practice law in Georgia and South Carolina. Brandon is a member of the Augusta Estate Planning Council, the American Bar Association, and the South Carolina Bar Association. He is also a member of two nationwide legal organizations, Wealthcounsel and Eldercounsel, whose mission is to inform and educate estate planning and elder law attorneys across the country.
David Pence
William David Pence is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Acumen IT, LLC. Acumen is a regional information technology consultancy firm and systems provider to the medical services, financial services, legal services, business services, manufacturing, and distribution markets. David has led the company to plan and execute an innovative and intuitive 3-prong strategy that has enabled Acumen IT to specialize in some of the faster growing segments of the IT industry. This degree of focus has fueled both top-line revenue and a pattern of increasing profitability from the very beginning in 1999.
Mr. Pence continues to leverage innovation and technology for improved operational and financial performance for his clients. Mr. Pence specializes in developing and deploying innovative approaches to an organization’s most pressing problems and primary opportunities His involvement imprints an indelible culture within commercial, civic, and cultural entities that motivates, galvanizes, and unifies the organization’s personnel to fulfill its true purpose. David’s primary objectives when leading an organization are to identify and capture transformative opportunities, increase the productivity of people and processes, and optimize operational and financial performance. His prescriptive approach has equipped organizations of all shapes and sizes to make better decisions faster, leverage their strengths for a competitive edge, and maximal results.
Mr. Pence holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from Clemson University. He has been married since 1997 to his wife, April, and they have two children, Gavin and Mia.
