Join us to help our neighbors and community recover from the impact of Helene.
Helene’s impact in the Upstate has left many of our neighbors without access to vital resources like food, water and shelter. To respond to our community’s need, we have launched the United Way of Greenville County Community Relief Fund.
100 percent of your gift to this fund will support these efforts to get resources into the hands of Greenville County nonprofits and families struggling right now.
Donate Food & Supplies
We are also accepting food, water and other supplies at our office (105 Edinburgh Court, Greenville, SC 29607) from Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m. – noon.
Needed supplies include:
Canned goods (vegetables, fruits, soups, meats) *POP TOPS PREFERRED*
Boxed meals (pasta, rice, cereal)
Peanut butter and protein bars
Bottled water and sports drinks
Diapers, baby wipes and formulas
Hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, feminine hygiene)
First aid supplies (bandages, pain relievers)
Cleaning supplies (disinfectant wipes, trash bags)
These supplies can be dropped off at the United Way office (you will see signage) at 105 Edinburgh Court, Greenville, SC 29607. We will be accepting all donated items Monday–Thursday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. – noon.

Nonprofit Funding Application
Nonprofit organizations can request funds to:
- Improve food security for those in need.
- Provide immediate and emergency shelter for those displaced or at risk of displacement due to Hurricane Helene.
- Strengthen organizational and community capacity to ensure basic needs are met.
